That last post was a while ago!
Here are the pictures of the Halloween crafts that I made :)
I haven't done any crafting besides those two things. But I am done with my second job in a few weeks, and hopefully will have more time and energy to do some crafting again. The only other obsticle I face, is this sweet little devil:
Terror of my life. She's worse than a cat with a loose string. Sheesh.
Also, the holidays are now upon us, and that means lots of FOOOOOOOOD. Nom nom nom nom nom. I'm leaving my second job just in time for a vet appointment, holiday party, and baking 6 dozen cookies one weekend, then making all of the christmas cookies and decorating the house the next weekend. By that time it'll be Christmas and we'll finally have family in town for a Christmas since............well, since I was 12 or something. SUPER EXCITED!!! That little ankle biter up there will also be getting her first surgery. I'm hoping that means she'll be extra docile ;)

Hi there! Welcome to our blog! We came to the realization that with all the crafting we do, we only share it with each other! So, we started a blog to share our experiences and projects with others. Hope you enjoy our crafting adventures!

Time, time
Um, wow. So, the last few weeks has just been a bunch of time flying by. I don't know what Lenore has been crafting, but I know I've been crafting NOTHING. The new puppy is taking up all of my time, and so is working 7 days a week!!
I haven't gotten very far at all on my current practice piece. I was going to practice the leg warmers full size, but I haven't even gotten past the knit cuff part. Sad.
And now my mind is on more seasonal-type crafts, like Halloween!! Normally I'd race home last second and try to carve 3 intricate pumpkins within an hour (which obviously never works out), so this year I'd like to be a little more prepared than that. I hope to have all of these done the day BEFORE hahaha.
Here are some of the things I'd like to do:
Doily pumpkin
There was no link for this one, but I think it's just nylons over a white pumpkin
Vampire pumpkins
I saw another one that was small pumpkins with a hole in the top for votives (or you could do it without), and black pipe cleaners glued on to look like spider legs. I def want to do those for outside, and maybe spray paint some of them black?
All of these things will be WAY faster than carving, and they're super cute! I will have to post an update once I actually do these, at Halloween.

Always do a practice run...
Good evening, good evening.
I have become bored with the "thing" and have now moved on to my practice piece for the leg warmers I posted about last time. My Mom has some thinner yarn, and some smaller needles for me to practice with. I'm not sure what I was thinking, because now I'm working with 5 needles instead of two, and stitching with a double thread instead of one. Oh boy. So far I have just been taking it slow, and it's turning out alright. Here is a pic of my progress:
I'm going to follow the pattern, except on a smaller scale, just so I can practice all the stitches :)

I know I said that YESTERday, but todaaaaay...
So I kept saying that I wasn't going to knit anything evar...mostly because I find it so frustrating. But I was on Pinterest today, and saw a project that I've seen before that I think is super cute.
I found the free pattern on this site. Just the thought of wool against my skin makes me cringe, so I hope I can do it in some awesome cotton.
Now I just need some yarn, patience, and some really awesome boots.
